About Nabuca

Name: E. Neville, also writes under the name Joey Maxwell

Internet Handle: Nabuca

Age: I was born in 1980. Beyond that, it would be telling.

Sex: No, thanks.

Single, or taken?: Taken. SOOO taken. Owned, even.

Political Orientation: Moderate.

Pets: A male black-and-silver Netherland Dwarf rabbit named Beelzebunny, and a rather corpulent male Maine Coon cat named Merlin. Also live with my mother's three other cats, Tango (male), Cocoa (female), and Cleo (female).

Body Mods: Two tattoos. Flamel's Crucified Serpent on upper right shoulder, an outline of a Gryphon on my lower left wrist. Upcoming tattoos will be the symbol for Mercury, and the Philosopher's Azoth.

Favorite Books/Authors: Frank Herbert (Dune series), Richard Adams, Dennis William Hauck (books on Alchemy/Hermetic Philosophy), Charles Dickens, Stephen King, J.K. Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien, Edgar Allan Poe, and a whole score of others.

Music: My musical tastes are very eclectic. I'll listen to anything from rock or techno to trance and new agey crap. Some of my favorite bands are Rammstein, Wumpscut, and Tool.

Favorite TV Shows: Not a big TV-fan, but I enjoy watching Reno 911, Crank Yankers, South Park, and Beavis and Butthead when I can. But my preferred station is National Geographic, History, and Animal Planet.

Favorite Movies: Napoleon Dynamite, Boondock Saints, Watership Down, Gangs of New York, Fight Club, a couple others.

Favorite Anime: Anything Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli. That man is a genius, and there is not a single thing done by him that I have not liked. Other favorites include (in no particular order) Ima, Soku Ni Iru Boku (Now and Then, Here and There), Hagane no Renkinjutsushi (Fullmetal Alchemist), Gundam Wing, Ghost in the Shell, Memories, and am still introducing myself to Wolf's Rain. Interesting stuff.

Other useless information: I'm a poor college student, studying English. I hope to also minor in Philosophy. Currently hoping to qualify for the JET program when I graduate in a few years. Lived most of my life in Maryland, but spent a few months in Jersey and roughly a year in Albany, New York. As a result I have friends that live all over the place. I currently live with one younger brother, both my parents, and my grandparents on my mom's side. Hail from a very large Irish Roman Catholic clan. Insofar as religious beliefs, although I come from a Christian base (Heh, even though most Christians would hang me for my beliefs which tend to be more than a bit left-field), I'm of the opinion that not one religion tells the truth, and all have shining nuggets of wisdom to learn from. I'm always seeking new knowledge and new ways of looking at the world, and religious/spiritual beliefs have always fascinated me, as well as philosophy. I don't care if you come to me believing yourself to be the Easter Bunny and worshipping the Great Pink Hippo, as long as you are intelligent, articulate and a functioning member of society I'll have no reason to judge you, and I'd accord you the proper respect and attention. The same goes for sexuality. Love is love...if you are a consenting adult and sticking with someone in your age-range and species, I could care less who you love or have sexual relations with. Matters of the heart and what people do in their bedrooms are none of my business and I'd really have no quarter to toss any stones. Oh yes, and I also enjoy learning about world cultures, dark beer, and cigars. I think thats about it for the moment.
